• During my Bachelor of Education, I studied a range of modules focused on curriculum design, pedagogy, and inclusive education, which gave me a strong foundation in teaching theory.
• Completed teaching practicums where I gained hands-on experience managing classrooms and delivering engaging lessons.
• Obtained a TEFL certification, which equipped me with strategies for teaching English as a second language.
• Teaching has always been a strong influence in my life. My grandmother was a teacher and my mum still is, both inspiring role models who helped shape my values around education and the importance of lifelong learning.
• These experiences helped me develop a student-centered approach and the ability to adapt lessons to meet diverse learning needs.
• Currently working towards an MBA in Educational Leadership to further develop my skills in school improvement, leadership, and strategic planning, with the goal of making a broader impact within education.

I believe in encouraging individuality while also fostering a strong sense of teamwork and community in the classroom. Every student brings their own strengths, interests, and learning styles, and I strive to design lessons that celebrate those differences and help each learner thrive.

I aim to build a space where students feel confident taking risks, asking questions, and learning from one another. By promoting mutual respect and collaboration, I help students grow not only academically but also socially and emotionally. Ultimately, my goal is to equip students with the skills and confidence they need to succeed both inside and outside the classroom.”
