D-PREP
D-PREP International School is a Nursery-Grade 12 school in Bangkok that nurtures the holistic development of our students; supporting them to find the courage to dream, challenging them to be leaders of their own learning so they discover who they are and their limitless potential, and empowering then to deliver positive change to themselves and the world through becoming the next generation of innovators and entrepreneurs. The establishment of the school is largely inspired by the fundamental teachings of His Majesty King Rama 9 on educating the heart and the character, sufficiency economy and life skills.
The foundation of D-PREP’s pedagogy is experiential learning which is used throughout school. Students’ rigorous learning is applied to designing solutions to real world challenges, connected to their lives outside of school, and presented to real audiences. D-PREP created its own Life Skills framework that focuses on developing happy and successful students in all areas of their lives. In addition, the school also places importance on place-based education where we focus on learning from our immediate community and Thai society to create rich, relevant, meaningful learning experiences for our students. We also have a strong Digital Literacy and Design Thinking framework that we integrate into our curriculum to fully prepare students to be creators instead of consumers of technology in our rapidly changing, technology-oriented world.
We draw on the best school design models from across the globe. As a Reggio Emilia-inspired school, we follow the International Baccalaureate (IB) Primary Years Programme of inquiry-based education N-5, and our 6-12 program is based on EL Education’s “Expeditionary Learning” practices. We are a trilingual school with the primary language of instruction being in English followed by Thai and Chinese.

D-PREP International School was established in 2018 by Ms. Lady Didyasarin Tavedikul, a distinguished 4th-generation member of the renowned Didyasarin family—pioneers in education who founded prestigious institutions such as the American School of Bangkok, Sukhumvit, and the American School of Bangkok, Greenvalley. For over 40 years, these schools have consistently guided students to gain admission to top universities around the globe.
