TEACHING PHILOSOPHY
“My teaching philosophy is rooted in the words of Audre Lorde: ‘When I dare to be powerful, to use my strength in the service of my vision, then it becomes less and less important whether I am afraid.’
I believe that students thrive when they are encouraged to take ownership of their learning and feel empowered to take risks, explore their identities, and pursue meaningful questions. I strive to create learning spaces that are inclusive, inquiry-driven, and emotionally safe. My goal is to help each learner develop curiosity, confidence, and compassion — qualities I believe are essential to becoming global citizens and innovative thinkers.”
